Standoff Distance - Profis
Is the standoff distance from top of concrete to underside of fixture, or from top of concrete to top of fixture?

Hi Brad,
The standoff is measured from top of concrete to the underside of the fixture. For more information about how Profis Engineering performs calculations for Standoff in applications, you can review the Profis Design Guide starting page 317. With a lot of similarities to the CSA A23.3, the Profis Design Guide document uses ACI 318 provisions. However, in the case of anchors installed with standoff, Profis uses the provisions of the European Technical Approval Guideline ETAG published by the EOTA.
